LS1 Porsche 996 in San Diego for sale

Someone buy this car so we can be friends. Never been a fan of 996 but the motor makes up for it.

      Dang. Would own.

If I was in the market for a ~25k car, this would be on a short list.

meh, 996s are dullest 911s that have come out in my opinion (except for the turbo)

Would you be able to say that you would not have a blast driving this thing?

I'd have blast showing up to a Porsche gathering in a corvette leather jacket, wearing corvette gloves, a corvette hat and a corvette belt buckle expecting to be part of the group. And if I can find a McDonald's along the way to grab a big bag of fries to be chewing on that'd be greeeaaat.

                  All it's missing is....

Looks like fun to drive, LSX is lighter than the engine that came out.

Agreed. Even with that motor I would rather spend $25k on a 3.2 Carrera than a 996. The interior alone is loathsome.

That's a pretty slick swap. Complete blasphemy, but slick.

looking at the guy's blog, he apparently drives a gallardo as well.

i don't know why that's relevant, aside from me disseminating my jealousy.
