3/91 build date, originally with natural beige leather interior, iS aero, 9 button obc, premium sound, weaves and a horrid auto trans. Door tag says 325iA, so I'm not sure if the iS bits where added at the dealership or an individual or if even iS models when automatic are door tagged iA. Its fallen from grace a long way.
iA doesn't mean automatic.
there were no 1991 325is's, but BMW did make a sport package for the 1991 325i.
3/1991 is pretty late in production! production stopped in 4/1991 so that's one of the last sedan bodies to roll off the assembly line..
I disagree. A clean laguna green late model coupe would fetch some good cash.
How much more. cause i was thinking it would be worth ~1000 more than a normal clean 325i in say red/black. but still 500-1000 less than a clean 325is in the same condition. no?
Wish I knew this rarity before I stripped my '91 for parts for the rally car. 140K, doctor-owned, automatic. Blown timing belt. Paid $250. Gorgeous car, virtually rust free (the most rust-free original E30 I've ever seen. I still have the hood, doors and trunk as back up in case I hit a magnetic tree on stage.
Here's the kicker, brace yourselves, the guy who bought the chassis put a Corvette engine in it. GASP!!!
Kicker No. 2, still looking for the pics, but I believe it was a slick top too. Triple GASP!!!
