Say what you guys wanna say, but I took my car from this:
To this....
To this.....
Back to this......
And just recently sold it. Paid all of about $500 bucks for all the changes (obviously excluding the price of the new wheels).
For what it is, its a great product to protect your car in the winter from rocks and other sh!t, it allows you to test or change your mind, and its %100 reversable. Yes real paint always look better (if you know what you're doing), but costs at least 3 times more and is perminent. Have fun with that if you f*ck something up.
Unless I'm ready to commit and have money burning a hole in my pocket, i'll take plasti-dip over a full paint job anyday!

I think that Plasti-dipping your whole car is kind of dumb for how temporary it is, but this is actually a good point. If you want to take your nicely-painted car on a long road trip or to the auto-cross track, Plasti-dip might make for a good temporary protective coating on the lower body parts.
I did the grill, gas door and my side view mirrors on my MINI. It holds up pretty well. But someone hit my side view mirror and scraped the plasti-dip off. I peeled it all off the mirrors but the top part got baked on by the sun and was very hard to take off. I should add that it did completely protect the actual paint from getting scratched.
