Having a garage with a roof is great...

But Jordan, don't you work at a shop? Having a hoist makes any job 100x easier and less un-enjoyable.

Ooh, that reminds me. I need to pick up some weed killer at work. I want to bring it up this weekend. That nasty vegitation has got-2-go.

I should probably get some oil remover too. That driveway looks MUCH worse in the pictures. I don't remember it being that bad. What is all that white stuff? Suds? Paint?? Meth??

      PS:
Don't forget to check the neighbors trash for the types of bottles they are throwing out...

I can't wait to buy my first house in a few months here. $500k will get me just a step above a duplex...but it'll have a 2-car garage.

You're renting. You're not buying. Spending money on Capital improvements on the house your renting is the landlords job, not yours. Unless they are cutting you a price break on rent... dont do that shit. Cleaning the driveway/garage.... ok. Painting the garage floor? No way.

                Just my $.02
Congrats on finding a good new place either way Jordan.

those were my thoughts exactly. Unless you're going to buy out the lease or something.

mother of god. with $500k I'd be living the high life. House at the base of the canyon, 3 car garage, storage shed for a sled, full tune bench, 2 stories, basement....ohhhh yeah.

but i live in a one bedroom apartment with another dude, with sheets as "walls" in the living room. the ski bum life is rough sometimes.

sweet. i lucked out here at my apartment with my garage, double deep, so we can fit two cars in it, my roomates parts car(73 bug) is in there with my car in there aswell. its quite narrow, so i have to park it to the side to work on one side, then reposition to work on the other, or i just go in crooked or leave an end out to work on both sides.

500k won't get the garage in this area. Hell 1 bedroom apartments with street parking are 1400.00 a month.

In Kansas $500k is damned near a mansion.

My current place is 2br/2ba, 1650sq. ft townhouse, two car garage, $2100/month. My pops owned a townhouse in this complex a few years ago and sold it mid-'04 for $655,000. His was an end-unit, which means windows to the world on one side and 1750sq. ft, as opposed to this one which is a middle unit.

                              High prices, yup that's SoCal.

I pay $1200 for my smallish 2 bedoom house, used to pay $1550 for my old 2 bedroom, the one with the garage
