Due why don't you just LS1 swap + turbo. You've obviously got the money, time, and experience to get the swap done.

I'm really not sure why there isn't a build thread yet. ;D

You won't be swapping in a LS1 for a grand.. So the first thing you need to do is increase your budget to even be considering choosing between those two..

I cant swap an ls1 for a grand, atleast not one that runs haha.
If i want serious relaible power im expecting to pay between 3 and 5 grand. The 1 grand # i just threw out there was an ebay turbo kit, which after reading ur sarcasm and third party site reviews, are blatant peices of shit.
On that note. Would a properly turboed ls1 even fit in my car?

I honestly don't think you realize what either one of those cost........not to mention the combination of the two.......ask me how I know.

If you try to run motronic, you can stay under $1k easily. It would be a pain in the ass and more work than it's worth, but it has been done.

Up the budget to ~$1500 and you can add megasquirt. Solid 250-260whp

$5k into an E30 could add quite a bit of horsepower.

A proper LS swap is going to cost more than that, unless you can do a lot of serious fabrication yourself...

I am...lol. The motor made about 450hp. I'm going for 550rwhp on less than 10lbs...it's not that bad actually.
