    Whatever you do to the car, make sure you keep the mechanical fan, as that's how BMW would have done it, just like with the 333i. Just notch the subframe and it will fit. Bumpsteer may become an issue in the future, though.

      Dude, if you can't even replace shocks yourself you have no business even considering a turbo or LS build. You're also missing mounts, CAB's, rear bushings (trailing arm, subframe, and diff mount), tie rod ends, and sway bar bushings to have completely refreshed your suspension.

      Please stop here and just work on refreshing the car.

                I could have done both, just didnt have the time to do so. Dealership dif belt and water pump, shop did my shocks.

                    Yes. You can. Up to a certain point. Some people on here at running over 400 on a stock bottom end.
                    Get all your bushings and a proper suspension before you go for more power.
