$800 for a 325is?

erik i have read i (to my knowledge) all the articles regarding "m50 + swap" on here and bimmerforums.com to help get an idea of what this entails. i will find a 93-95 525i engine and tranny with all electronics and accessories for the swap.

Ohh shit, I just remembered. There is a guy on baye30.net offering his '89 shell (no motor) for FREE. Have yourself a nice project and build that one up. The guy just wants the car out of his driveway, so he wants for someone to take it.

it's really not that bad, can be easily popped out, looks like a golf ball indentation.

yea, I was going to pick that up too, but my parents are going

As for the $800 e30, I think I'm familar with it.
I told my buddy to look into it awhile back.

haha so i think i've decided i'm just going to toss an m20 in it *for now* as i'm sick of driving a pick up truck for so long. what are prices i should offer people for used m20's... i just emailed one dude and told him i'd give him $150 for a 163k mile 2.5L m20.

what do you guys think, it needs a new engine, is that about going price for a 325is with a blown engine?

paint is good, silver color, interior is gray leather in good shape. its a 5 speed that has 153k on it. it has a 2 year old clutch and the a/c was replaced 2 years ago. it also needs a fan motor.

I was looking at the M50 swap and found a few m50's in the 600-700 range, is it best to run the trans that the m50 comes with?

I think $800 for a good looking but not running COMPLETE car is fine...we are talking about a timing belt victim, right? An "is" car too, right? Not too shabby a deal, assuming there aren't too many other issues.

Yeah, I pretty much got a deal IMO, e30's aren't a dime a dozen over here like you guys get.
Mine was also a t-belt victim.
