Nice bikes. Last time I rode was about 3 weeks ago, but I would like to start up again. I have a 2001 Specialized Rockhopper and a 2002 Trek 8000 with Egg Beater Clipless Pedals. Nice bikes, just need to ride more.
I have started to ride a lot more recently. I have a 97ish Raleigh M3000 full suspension. Rock Shocks Indy XC fork, LX components, system components OCLV carbon fiber bar ends, aluminum bar.
I have been riding my road bike the last two years since my mtn bike is still in Germany. I have been wanting to bring it back with me but I don't want to carry all the stuff I have accumulated over the last 2.5 years of living in a hotel.
I ride a 1998 Specialized Stumpjumper FS Pro. Love it and I have an unbuilt Team frame that I was going to build but didn't have the time. My other mtn bke is a Bridgestone MB-Zip or MB-0, not that anyone would remember them or there wicked light steel is real frames.
I have a Cannondale crit frame circa 1988 and a Pugeout PX-10 and a Pinarello road bikes. I have the Pinarello here in the states. My son just took my PK Ripper from me to start riding since I don't do ramps anymore. He has that and a Redline that we got at yardsales. Both bikes were $15.00 a piece.
I am now selling my Burly Roo trailer as both my kids are to big for it.
Nice bike you got there! My riding buddy just got a Jekkyl, and let me say that bike is amazing! One ride on it and I was almost convinced I needed a full suspension. But I am cheap, and besides like I stated I am into some trials stuff!
i ride fixies! This is my pride and joy at the moment.
Nice single speed Rob. I rode a single speed for awile in Japan on the Kirin track's while I was stationed there. I was at Belmont wheelworks last saturday looking at some old single speed.
why would you go to CT. that's far from sarasota. and there's no waves out there. and isnt it cold there? you'd probably have to wear a shirt.

Guys like him are the reason I love it when people do things to their cars that are different. It just like anytime Karlo posts a thread with pics of his car, I love watching all the elitist pricks on this site shit their pants when they see an E30 that doesn't fit their standards.
What do you mean, WA is basically the B.C, The freeriding mecca of the world!!!! And there are some ok downhills out there I hear.
Singlespeeds rock, I built one. From a Peugot frame with some drop bars, it is more of a cyclocross bike than a road or mt bike though. It has big 2" bald tires. It is so fun on the streets!
Tj, Mine didn't cost that much even though it was brand new I purchased it on closeout for $700 but I still payed more for it then I did my $500 88 325is 8)
My schwinn probally had $1200-$1300 invested in it. I built the bike from the ground up.
The next thing I'll do to the Marin is a new front fork and an ISIS crank. I purchased the bike mainly as it came with an 24 speed drivetrain. I had 27 speed on the shwinn and snapped a chain every ride, even though the shops warentied the chains it sucks when you go to hammer and you snap a chain, then you have to walk 4 miles back home :x
When the frame on the Schwinn cracked I got a Cannondale road bike and road it for a while then sold it for tripple what i paid.
It makes it nice when I can go 15 feet from the back door and get on a trail, but I ussualy drive 3 miles down to the main Trail head.
