3,000 kids? I have more than that at my high school.

WHAAAAAAAAT?!?!?! We only have like 850!!

Take out a bunch of loans...and work one shift. Try to pay em off as fast as you can.

My high school has around 3,200. I'm probably going to a college with 4,500.

honestly, don't get to anal about where you will be going to college for your fresh/soph year.. go somewhere public, and when you are decided on a major, and have a feel for what you want out of a college... transfer.

Thats the way to do it. I am going to a local Community College for my first two years for FREE just for playing in their band. Its a great school, and all my classes will count at my next school, University of Arkansas or Wichita State, both have excelent Entrepeneurial programs.

Your first two years of college are mainly the BS classes that you have to have to move on for your next two years, sure you want a great education, but there are other schools that can teach the same thing.

As for working, just get a decent job for the day/evenings, like working at a restaurant, it is VERY easy to get burned out and it puts a lot more stress on your mental stress than physical on your body. Its your last summer of HS, you WILL want the weekends to go out and stuff, keep that in mind, too.
