people with RELIABLE boosted m20s: how long did it take you to feel comfortable DDing after the first start? read: no problems taking your e30 cross country. (after tuning, misc parts, upgrades, etc..)

Any time it's not raining or freezing, does that count? about 100 miles a day when I'm working.

I've driven mine over 1k miles the last week and the car is awesome, smooth....still needs to have the cold start tuned, but has been dead reliable. The only thing that is crappy though is I averaged probably 250 on a tank of gas. Now, I do get gas as soon as the light turn ons, so I probably have another 30 miles or so, but didn't want to risk it since I don't know with the larger injectors. One of these days, I'll have a gallon or so of gas and try my luck.

+1 I'm in the same boat with my Ix, pretty much just researching and collecting parts. I'm shooting for next winter though.
