    Once my DD is sorted i plan to pull a b35 and rebuild it myself, learning along them way. And drop it in my project.

      ^ Throw a cam in that future B35 and you will be well rewarded says my friend.

        I actually don't think hot cams are that cool. The flat torque of the B35 is what drew me to it in the first place. And from what I can tell cam jobs just give you a little more breathe near the redline, and take away grunt on the bottom end.

          I would suggest talking to people that rebuild/modify BMW engines for a living such as Korman, Rowe, Ireland, or others before ruling out a cam change. Paul Burke told me a simple cam change to an otherwise stock B35 can add significant power and torque and not just near redline. Sounded to me like one of the best bang for the bucks mods on the m30 but to each his own.
