    Have a fender bender with a dented hood and fender, try and have your insurance company fix that. On a old car with hardly any blue book value. They will be sending you a check, and calling it a write off. Doesn't take very much, and it doesn't mean the car is ruined, it's just about the money for them.

      Exact same thing with my car. It was hit in 05, and totaled since it wasn't worth anything. You can see where the damage was if you look in the trunk, and it was practically nothing.

        The only lame-as-shit part about it is that I can't put full-coverage insurance on the car. I might contact Hagerty after the new year and find out about collector insurance.
