Damn "Winter Gas!" It has to have more than 10% ethanol in it. I was getting 22-24 mpg all through out the winter, and my first fill-up after 3/1 (when they stop using it), I'm back up to 32-35mpg.

Nah, its a common thing. They change the mixture during the winter for better cold starts.Originally posted by mattskaI heard somewhere that after the Katrina hurricane all gas companies started to use more ethanol. I can't remember the source of that info though. Needless to say, I used fuel stabilizer when I stored my E30.'91 318is

I'll be wishing for 22-24 on the highway when I get the Land Cruiser, Glad you got your milage back & that it was not the car's fault.Originally posted by kencopperwheatDamn "Winter Gas!" Word. My mom used to have the 4.0 in her grand cherokee and averaged 15-16.... and that was my mom driving.Originally posted by SeattleKidno, there isn't (if you've got the 4.0). I got 15mpg all fuckin' day in my jeep too.
I'm not sure how many states actually use 'winter gas'.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

Haha, that's bad?
I drove to Sioux Falls from Rapid City for spring break 350miles, and got 20 MPG! HAHAHA. got 18 on my last tank, but that's with all my spirited driving.
Since I don't drive much anymore (went thru MAYBE two tanks during first semester - sits in the lot all semester) I pretty much go all out whenever I drive. I don't care anymore. hehe- Sean HayesComment
