    Taking night pictures...and cops.

Just wanted to post up a quick rant...

Am I the ONLY PERSON that seems to be a COP MAGNET on nights when I try to find good spots to take pictures of my car at night?

I'm here in Sioux Falls for spring break, and I decided to go out last night and play with my camera for the first time at night. I was at this park for half an hour, as I'm leaving, I drive right past a cop as he's driving in - talk about damn good timing! I mean - I wouldn't have gotten in trouble, but it's just the hassle of it, you know?

In Rapid, I was approached by two police officers one night - made me step away from my car and everything. Pulled out my license and registration FOR ME.

I just don't get it - what's so suspecious about someone taking pictures of their car?! LOL

    Yea...so, end of rant. :p

I was thinking the same thing. No offense, but SD never carried the title of "most action-packed place to visit" that I'm aware of.

if you're in a public park past a specified "closing" time (9pm in the city of SD) it gives them automatic PC to search you, bitches.

Oh yea...none taken. South Dakota is definately pretty dull when it comes to "action-packed ness"

And, yea, I actually was in the park after it had closed (this one closed at 10, and it was 10:20 - I got there at 9:40, left at 10:20, that's when I say the cop strolling in) - and I understand that. But, even then, there's been times when I'm just parked on the side of the road, and they stroll up, needing to know what's going on.

None the less, guess I was wondering if I was the only one to run into that issue...which it sounds like one other person had.

                Terrorism...lol.

Got kicked out of a parking garage for no reason, 2 weeks later the other security gaurd didn't care.

Got kicked out of another parking garage open parking lot and was told to get off the property by a security gaurd because I gave the car some extra push when shifting down to first (must have looked really dangerous). I didn't argue, he told me to leave I didn't ask why... just left with a smile on my face (he seemed to take his job very seriously) knowing it's a good spot and at some point I'll go back.

I got kicked out of a mall parking lot for taking rolling shots on the empty upper level of the garage.
