    E30 m3 motor swap

I can't say I entirely disagree with this one...way rather see one of these in there than a Chevy 350 or the like...

SR20DET is an amazing motor. I'd drive that M3 anyday.

    RISING EDGE

Let's drive fast and have fun.

I disagree with the fact that he took a peferctly fine and running E30 M3 and frankensteined it. He should of taken a shell or some E30... I say that because I want to own an E30 M3 one day and only 17 000 or so were made and thats one less I'll be able to buy :( Anyway, my 2 cents I'm sure it's a blast to drive

I dont see what's wrong with it. I give credit for the S14 being an amazing piece of engineering, but affording an SR20DET is nothing compared to the S14B23.

I'm so torn when I see m3 w/ engine swaps.

One part of me says it's a piece of history and its soul should be preserved.

Another part of me knows that my ultimate e30 would be an M3 w/ the grunt of a much better motor.

I'd drive it. Also, hot rims.

for christ sake! its just a motor. can easily change it back in 20 years when the car is really worth something. its not like they hacked the fenders on it to turn it into a 50s style gasser or something. Saying that, I would never pull the S14 out of mine, but its not like the car was ruined.

Those gold wheels are a crime against my eyeballs... but I agree with Mike, its just a motor swap. A Nice one too.
