    What kind of repair manual should I get?

    Chilton, Haynes, what else is out there and the best value? for e30's of course..

    Chilton and Haynes are pretty useless. The Bentley isn't perfect, but for E30s, it's as good as it gets.

        Haynes isn't bad necessarily bad like nando said just if you're going to get one get the Bentley (dont' even consider anythign else) - it has all the haynes content plus a billion much more useful things

                got mine for 45 shipped

                theres also PDFs of it for free on the pirate internet

                could always see if the library has it, here the libraries are all linked up, if anywhere in the state has it they will ship it to your local for you

                  A Bentley manual is probably the best money you can ever spend on any E30.
                  It's not bad paint, it's called "patina"

                      bently is the best money can buy for the e30 i got mine of ebay for 45 shipped and it was a hard cover to.

                        Yes yes I understand. I will get it because I put on my real winter coat on this night and found $20 in my pocket. Funds for the repair manual! And also, I did not snap my timing belt :p

                          Seriously though, the Bentley is priceless. I had a downloaded copy on my old computer but I can't remember where I found it. Have one for my E34 and it's saved me countless hours and god knows how much money.

                              I think you can actually find the bently for free online if need be, but its much easier having the hard copy...its like 40$, seriously.
