Fucken A. Daily i usually take my car up to about 4,500, i like to let the rev's clime oh so slowy to about 3,500, then just rip on it, sets you back pretty nice. After that i just bring it up to a little more than 6,000 all the way til' the top of third. I do this daily, Mostly, to impress girls in civics.

"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.

Hell Yeah! I love ripping it up in my "eta"!!!

I keep the revs climbing all the way up to 2750rpm! And when my engine starts whineing like my last girlfriend, and the exhaust starts spluttering like my old dog before we put him down... in goes the clutch and I slam her into 3rd!

      *coughs violently*...ahem, how cool am I? ;)

you guys are crazy i shift at like 2.5k in my eta. once in a GREAT while I wind it out to 5, but only when I need to go somewhere

but in the touring i get awful mileage cause I'm always revving it out. the real power doesnt start until 3.5k anyway, and i love the sound of the supersprint.

i can't wait until I bring it back out in spring, stroker with a smooth powerband. mmmm best of both worlds

Well, I've shifted at high RPMs and even redlined it several times before, I not with any regularity. Doing it once in a while is nice and all, but when you ONLY shift at 4-5K, that's something else!

I do 3k as my warm-up rev-line. After that, it gets revved up quite a bit.
