I've mentioned in our camshaft thread that I'd be happy to work with somebody on getting dyno numbers on a stock 2.5L vs. our cam and chip. If anybody would like to do this please PM me.
I completely understand that man and you guys do a great service to the community. I've talked to you a couple times about cams and you've been nothing but informative and I appreciate you taking the time resond. I'm actually picking up one of your heads from a friend who totaled his car and I'm really excited to see the results and maybe get this chip. I believe his head had the 280 cam? I could be wrong on the degrees but would this chip work a different cam other than the 274 and also it's 2.7 not 2.5.

Should be able to run the chip on the 280 cam. If it runs into any problems or feels rough, give me a shout and we'll work something out. The tunes fr the 280 and 274 cam are different, but not by too much.

Does the stroke matter? Also was planning on running 19lb injectors.

Oh right didn't even notice that on my morning bathroom read-through.

To be honest, you're going to better off with a specific tune for the 19# injectors, 2.7i, and 280 cam than you would be with a tune for a different setup. You're welcome to go through Bimmerheads or myself to get the right setup. Either way, feel free to PM me anytime with any questions you may have.

guys stop being so hard with the bimmerheads people, they make these themselves my friend (who has more monies than me) bought a chip here and loves it. I'd get one too if i had the funds.
dyno tests, this test, that test, blah blah blah You can feel it in your butt when you step on the gas, it was a good purchase.
