    Which E30 should I buy

So going to look at two cars this week end not two sure on which one I should get

    Really Clean E30 318i 1989 $3500 300,000km
    http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/adela...ual/1032126116

    Ruff as E30 318is 1990 $4500 397,000km

So I have two spear M42s and a Gearbox so if I pick up the 318i I can engine swap that bitch but still is 4 door I prefer the 2 door.

The 318is already has the M42 but need allot more work cosmetically and I think mech as well. But if fixed will have a better value then the 318i

I just can't make my mind up R3V what do you say

That is a really clean bronzit.

I do like the blue one better though. That interior is interesting.

Is this for immediate daily use? If so I'd buy the bronzit

well, those wheels on the blue car are worth more than the 1000.00 difference. besides, the "is" has an m42 already. what is the value of not having to change the engine to suit your needs?

How much cosmetic work are we talkin' here? It doesn't look too bad in the photos!
Also on the 318 it looks like the shift knob is on backwards lol

              I think E30 318i 1989 $3500 300,000km is a better choice.

long term the 318is will hold it's value better, even with a ton of clicks..

I think I'd still go with the 318is though. it looks pretty damn clean to me? what does it need?

I only buy schwarz or DS cars, but if I were you I'd buy the coupe.

318is has a few dings and a big a big scuff and ding on the read tail light drivers side. It is in far shape, I just don't have to the tools to fix stuff cosmetically. I am going to have a better look at both today I hope and will get back to you all.

Why doesn't the 318is have sport seats?

Australian delivered 318iS seem not to have had the sport seats standard. I've seen plenty of them down here with plaid comfort seats.

The Bronzit one has been for sale for a while, so you might get it cheaper than $3500.

If you ultimately want a coupe though, just grab the blue one. The cosmetic stuff doesn't look bad in the pics, and you'll spend more on a set of rims for the bronzit one than the price difference + no engine swap as already mentioned.

You can't go wrong with either. I personally prefer the 4-door, but maybe that's because I'm a sucker from Bronzit and I already have a 2-door?

The 318is is a nice color and seems like a better deal based on pics, model ect.. but yeah we need pics of the damage. 318i+4door+bronzit makes me lose intrest/devalue it personally. But its your choice and taste. But both look pretty clean in the pics.

also things like LSD, 15" weaves and sunroof were optional

Yeh I am leaning more toward the 318is
