Ever lose your temper? over a parking spot?

Nah, i just blow it off, but this one time someone parked in my (assigned) spot at my apartment so i just parked behind him. Good stuff. Now if it happens i just call the tow truck Thats always funny

I can't say I feel sorry for you living in that type of enviroment but you wanted to. I would just rent a stall in a garage. That's what most people in Frankfurt do and that's a tight city.

I would never own a car if I lived in NYC because of public transp is to readily available.

As far as assigned spaces well I get upset when people park in mine. But I can walk a short distance. My heartburn is when they know it's assigned and do it anyway so I just block them in. Then they normally don't do it again. My wife has takes the tag number down and calls the cops and gets info then calls the member if they are military. Don't piss off a women with two kids and grocerys that has been a single parent for 2 years.

She needs a break. I can't wait to take her on a cruise next year.

I dont live in the city I live on Long Island but I am always in the city.

My cars are not transportation for me they are just toys I take a bus to work..I work on wall st so parking is about $20 a day...threw a discount for my company. One car sits on my drive way and the other stays in a garage.



how ever when you are out to dinner and such I do drive in... I guess most of you guys live near strip malls where parking is not a problem. Never mind.

In Germany I live in farm country. Only 6 houses on my street, and they are all packed together. It's for land conservation, Europe doesn't believe in suburban sprawl. they just don't have the room for it.

In Massachsetts, I live in a suburban sprawl town in a hotel.

Does your wife have a car too? If you are married that is? If so maybe you shouldn't have so many cars. We as Americans like to have as much as possible, sometimes I think that is one of our weak points. My .02 thou.

At least in suburban areas, freaking out over parking spots is not worth it.
If I have to park in the far back of a parking lot, then so what. There's less of a chance of some moron bumping it, and I get to look at it longer on my way back before I have to get in :D I just don't like busy times of the year when people follow you from the door to your car, waiting for the spot. In those cases I usually sit there a while and listen to the radio waiting for the lazy bastard who can't stand parking far away leaves.
I'd never be able to have a car in the city. Fighting over parking spots would drive me crazy.
