I just dropped my 2002 head off at the machine shop and saw the head and block of an M3. He said he did all the work on it and the customer bailed so he is looking to dump it for what he has in it. I figured someone here might be interested in a freshly worked engine.
Here's what I remember.

ARP Studs
Micro polished crank
Head cleaned, tested, resurfaced, and valve job
I forget what else but I can inquire further if there is interest. He said he has $750 into it and would let it go for that. Let me know and I can pass the word along.
