New DD & thrasher Land Cruiser.

2004 AMG C32 I'll drive it until I go then my Brother will take it over. His Saab is going bye bye.

The LC is a 96 it has all new drivetrain & tires. The paint is bad but that is ok as I want something I don't have to worry about and if it gets on my nerves less than 1k gets it 100% repainted. (in Mexico)

Cab's plates transferred to the LC today.

The C is very nice, the ergonomics & build quality are amazing, the engine is sweet but the trans is a bit balky. It is odd it does not have lsd but more odd that the trans is not smoother.

        Here is the best part:

        185.00 keys!

I've always been a big Landcruiser fan.
you need to do something about that brushguard, those things do more harm than good if you do end up hitting something.
If you DO want to be able to hit shit, or just don't want anyone to ever cut you off again (trust me I have an ARB on my yota, people back the fuck off when they see you comming) you need to pick up an ARB.

It has lockers and the damage multiplier is leaving asap.

hell ya front and rear lockers FTW

you need to get that thing off road and use the lockers. you will be amazed at the huge difference it makes, that is if you find anything that you can't walk up with OPEN diffs. if you put an Old Man Emu lift and a good set of tires on one of those things they will walk up ANYTHING without sliping a tire.

It came with new Pirelli 275 70 16 Scorpions. I don't know if they are good or bad but they have 99.9% of their tread.

I did not buy it to go off road but for the safety, reliability and 8 passenger ability.

No I said I wanted RELIABILITY.

How does my need for a reliable 8 passanger vehicle dictate I go offroad because it is also four wheel drive? I live where the roads suck AND it rains alot in the summer so I wanted the added safety and security of the proven Land Cruiser 4X4 system.

                          How is that wrong?

its not, I was not serious.
you should try taking it offroad sometime if you get a chance. Its pretty damn fun. its cool getting somewhere in a couple hours that most people can't go without hiking for a couple days. thats why I got into fourwheeling.

regardless thats a nice cruiser, I like the benz too, i'd get one for sure if there were more of them (in america) with manuals.

Okiedokie! I get that it is a serious 4X & lots of serious 4Xers get their panties in a bunch when posers get vehicles, I get it when soccer Moms are driving H1's I mean that thing is really only good for serious bad road/off road/military usage and it is lame that they are alone in a vehicle that gets 7mpg at best.

My 32 is a manual and like I said it is balky but better than a auto. It's pretty funny the loaner we got while the Passat is at the shop is a 280 it is virtually the same car, funny we went form never having a Benz to temporarily having 2.

Do you know about these Pirellis? They seem good, it's been raining lately and I have felt secure in canyons in the wet.
