    Check the oil separator.
I've used shit like this when I was dumping the motor for a new one and needed a temp move.

Ruined a new water pump, rad, and thermostat.

As been previously said, it's pretty nasty stuff only designed to get you out of a jam. Basically hardens where it comes into contact with heat/air depending on type. Sludge develops throughout the cooling system at any turn, casting mark etc etc. Much better just to keep it going as it is until you need to repair it.

Thanks for everyone's feedback. I think I just hit panic mode when I saw the sludge. This stuff is probably great for a 92 grand am thats only going to be on the road for another 8 months but not worth taking a chance on anything else.

I would personally just pull the head, and do it right.

          Please leave feedback below, thanks

            Steel Seal:

I saw this from Scott Kilmer.

Pretty interesting. It's also pretty darn expensive ($100).

I used it to repair a vacuum leak. Worked nicely for me.

you know what - I used this stuff back in 2005. it worked. it was actually a cracked block, but same side effect. yeah, it could gunk everything up - but I only replaced the radiator, I didn't touch anything else and haven't had any problems in the last 9 years.

                I would do it again.
