So yeah, Im trying to figure out what chip Ive got in my 318is. The PO had a solid euro parts guy and he bought a chip for the car from england. What chips were available over there as the PO couldnt remember the exact name of it. Any ideas? Im a lazy bastard and my glovebox latch broke on my ride up to school yesterday and Id like to have an idea.

Anyone with a chip burner and a PC can hack something together. I would never run a chip unless I knew who made it.

All I know is that its a european tuner and he picked the chip up in England. Its not some hack job as the guy wouldnt have it. The PO took meticulous care of the car and didnt spare any expense, he just couldnt remember the name of the company for the life of him.Back to my roots

Ive had no experience of chips from him but have seen his/company name on a few different BMW forums!
But one of the E30Zone admin team does chips too and has an excellent reputation on the Zone,think he makes them to your spec?

If you check out Brendan Purcell's site, you will see that he lists a company called Superchips for the UK. That's what he runs in his car--he's in ireland. Might wanna contact him directly, as he may be of more help to you.
