And Ken Block definitely = bad ass.
Because Ken Block is a professional; closed circuit courses with no one to injure but himself and insured props.

Gorgi is a straight amateur (a good amateur at that), who endangered many lives and countless dollars in potential property destruction on public roads

Be a hoonigan on the track not the streets. That's the lesson to be learned.

After seeing what happened, I've officially put up my gloves for drifting on public roads; even if it was just during late hours with no one around

It is just not worth it if and when something goes wrong..

That's so sad. These people want nothing to do with other's hooliganism (hooniganism?) yet innocent lives are lost because of selfish jerkasses.

Below is not directly related, but a reminder of what can happen on the roads...

Yesterday there was a double fatality in my city due to 2 teenage brothers trying to outrun the cops in a stolen F-150. They t-boned a car in the process killing a father and daughter. Thankfully both guys were caught (uninjured) and are now facing a laundry list of charges including homicide.

I was LITERALLY there when this happened

As an EMT, I parked and jumped out of my car. Both idiots were out cold in the truck; the couple in the smaller car were not so fortunate. The car was so smashed I could hardly even recall the make/model. There was nothing I could do; plus I was off-duty so I was limited in my assistance. The f150 looked like it sustained an immense amount of damage: at least traveling 80+mph

Fire Dep. Showed up and cut the couple out with the Jaws. Unfortunately, the couple didn't make it.

I was on my way to school that day; on my way home (~11PM) I saw the family outside lighting candles

Intersection near Don Julio; off of Antelope; right above the railroad tracks

    My heart sank...

Even professional race car drivers crash some of the time. Doesn't matter how skilled the guy was, he was going to crash at some point. The difference is he might have killed an innocent person on the street instead of just hitting a track wall.
