    I agree, I need a new starting point.
    Looks like I'm going to put this one back together and use it as a parts car.

      Ive truthfully never seen rust that bad, I thought my car was far from perfect but this shell is FUCKED. Start over. Not even remotely worth fixing that. Ive had to scrap one E30 and Sell another (WHich I had allready 24 Valve swapped before I realized the shell was too gone ) because they had too much Rust, but nothing nearly as bad as this. I finally found one (In New England) with a tolerable amount of rust, that im still patching .

        I know others have told you this already but all of that metal needs to be cut out, if your frame is in this condition you are pretty much looking at thousands of dollars for repairs.

        I just redid my trunk and driver/passenger floors (both had small holes) with grinder/pho acid/por-15 and it came out great but if I pulled the carpets and saw that I would probably kill my self.
