    E30 or E36.

What are your reasons for choosing the E30 over a 36'?
Everyone obviously has reasons so whats yours?

I personally don't much care for the looks of the E36.

      E30's have better looks/style/class/swag/steeze
      E30's are getting more rare
E30's are easier to work on
      E30's are cheeper to insure
Because its an E30 and not an E36

E36 is looking dated, and is made of plastic, and generally falls apart, from what I hear. E30 is becoming a classic, has clean looks, and is generally pretty solid/well made. The E30 also has a lot more character than the E36 IMO.

And I had wanted one since I was 15.

            I chose an e34.

All the looks of an e30......

....all the betterness of a 5.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I've always considered the e30 to be the last of the 'old' BMW's, and the e36 to be the first of the 'new'.

I guess I like having the ultimate iteration of a particular design philosophy.

You need medical attention immediately, just hope the e34 can get you there fast enough ;)

Now go ask the question in the E36 section of BF.c or the 'fest.

This, but Id probably say the E34 (which in my mind went through the mid 90s?) is old school as well.
