It's not your fault. E30's are not easy to launch. Our 15 year old 25% limited slips arn't exactly the best you can get for hard launches with a lot of power. :) If only an E46 M3's ///MVarilock unit would fit in an E30 diff housing. 8)

Quaife for those with bottomless pockets. If some one from the UK board would see if Quaife will offer these at VAT free, I might be able to faciliate shipping for some people here. I am interested in pursuing one myself. I had one in my VW before and it makes a huge differance in the car.

what about a torsion diff from an M-Coupe? I have the cover on my car, I don't see why it couldn't be used, maybe even use the m-coupe subframe/trailing arm setup, that would be awesome to handle tons of power in the E30 Chassis...

              Ryan,
What is the percent is the lockup on a M Coupe diff?

              Golde30,
The kit will likely pass the sniffer if you can get someone to close their eyes.

              Thanks,
              Todd

Todd do you want to run it on the Mass emission system? I know a shop that has one. It's the dyno method too. But It's a short drive, aka Hanscom Field in Bedford, Mass.

Why MA? It'll get tested here in CT.

just think since Mass has the same emission rules as california. The use the same stringent test.

The kit will not be CARB certified. Sweeney's 635 passed MA emissions with flying colors. Passing isn't a problem.

Why how much is it to get a unit CARB certified?

It looks great and all, and the gains look like its worth the money, but then you need to upgrade supspension/brakes/get wider tires. For the money you could have a nice e36 m3 which would more than likely outhandle the e30. Or maybe I have no idea what I am talking about.

Maybe a really really cheap and beaten e36 M3 but it would still be slow. This car will eat almost anyting with the name "M" in it for lunch! I used to like my e36 M3 until I realized how slow it was and promptly sold it. I prefer to driver my turbo 5er that has 295k mile on it, no a/c or cruise control but has BOOST!
