      I got one of those too, from a purchase of a e36, when I went I had the emissions done it failed ... why - PO removed bulb from check engine light ....

      SUX but you'll move forward & probably check other things a bit closer now. Good Luck.

                  Could be a lot worse, springs are pretty easy to replace. I'd rather that than some half assed body kit or rust repair.
