I paid $650 for a 1991 325i with a snapped timing belt. The paint was worse than Heeters (read: pink), the black leather interior was torn and useless, and nothing on the body was worth selling but the bumpers and valance. I still made well over $2,000 parting it out. I even kept the 4.10 LSD for my car, and the engine, head, tranny, most of the suspension, and a lot of random small pieces are still sitting in my garage. I didn't even sell the rims/tires because the car had to remain a roller.

found out some more, its really a 318i so not even an LSD. so it has a good tranny, shitty interior, some panel damage. good fenders, decent plastic bumpers. i just dont see what you could part out on a 318i for $2000. a 325is yeah because you have all the speakers, suspension, wheels, LSD, trans, m20, obc, bla bla bla.

Did you even read my post? I didn't even sell the suspension (went to the junk yard), wheels (went to junkyard), LSD (went on my car), trans (is in the garage), engine (is in the garage).

i just dont see what all you sold off of it? im going to take a look for sure tomorrow, it would make a helluva commuter for only $450+ what 300 in parts to fix that timing chain, case, gaskets, etc?
