That 29.99 water pump made in India is not the same as a 49.99 Meyle or Graf water pump made in Germany.

Make sure the parts are the same from all these different websites.

I personally buy everything from the local dealer a few blocks away. They happen to be the largest wholesale BMW parts dealer in the USA. I get better prices than BMA, Eurasian, etc. on almost everything, pay no tax or shipping and they have almost everything in stock, so I can pickup items in less than an hour. Plus this way I know the quality of the parts I'm buying, I never have fitting or reliability issues. Plus the parts all have a 2-year warranty through BMW.

there are no dealers here, and BMA is close enough that I usually get my order in 2-3 days, so I'll probably stick to them. plus you can send them a huge list of obscure euro part #s and get a quote back right away.

If my dealer stocked any e30 stuff, I'd agree - when I get stuff there with my CCA discount - it is cheap - usually around BMA's prices and ALWAYS less than BavAuto. They just only seem to have about half of what I need - and I am a lazy fuck. The brown truck bringing it to my door has value - when the dealer is 20+ minutes away.

Yeah, I see that point, especially with nando who has no local dealer. My dealer is close to my house and their prices aren't cheap but once you factor in shipping and such, the convienence makes up for any difference in price. Not everyone is so fortunate though.

Dude, thay stopped making parts in Germany right around the time when the wall fell down. Everything is made in China now.

And why aren't you paying sales tax?

Plus it's only 1 year warranty and it's on materials and workmanship only.

Will they still give you the 5% off and free shipping even if they're matching prices?!

I've had him pricecmatch before. He will give you the 5%, but won't give you free shipping, with the pricematching.

For that reason, I'm going to try having the local guys here pricematch, which means no shipping! :)

Check out http://ImportPartsSpec.com They are also at http://ips-parts.com/ They have pretty good prices, and most stuff is shipped quickly! AND, they're in Boise! :D Not to mention I know Rick and Andy personally! ;)
