OP I feel you. I just put my nice set of wheels with Azenis rt615ks on my ETA today and god damn, I fell in love with the car all over again. I've ridden and driven in newer sports sedans and sports cars but they lack that E30ness haha. Even my friends ap1 s2000. I swear to god my stripped out 318is handled better than that car.

Now I'm feeling like I have to join the conversation. I drive my E30s every day. Picked up the convertible from the shop on Wednesday night - had a new top installed. Motors worked perfectly, put the top down, drove about 90 extra miles out and back on back roads to my daughter's house in Mendota. Nothing like it. Wind in the face and bugs in my teeth.

I almost forget driving my 993.

the e30 ceases being stupid when the hipster gets out of the drivers seat.

    both are sexy.

in a Mary Ann and Ginger sort of way.

Ok young grasshoppers. I've been driving e30s, since I bought them brand new. I've driven them anywhere, anytime, all over the US and will NEVER be tired of driving an e30. Nothing else...and I mean NOTHING... Porsche, MB....that I've owned feels like a well tuned e30 on a twisty. I will always have 2 or 3 e30s in my garage, well..right now.. only one, but I'm shopping. BEST CAR EVER MADE FOR TOOLING ON THE BACK ROADS.

    Post your 993 op
    It looks stock.

Go autocrossing! You will fall in love with it all over again! I went yesterday and had a ball in my e30.

Get euro headlights and a retrofit kit for vastly better headights.

The thing that makes a car special to me, is that feeling of when you're driving home from somewhere, and you purposely take the backroad because you get to spend more time in the car.
There aren't many cars that give me that feeling, and fewer still that have kept that feeling for a long time.
My E30 hasn't been mine for long, but I can tell that it's something special.
