I've always like cars with boxy lines and round headlights so it's by default that I like e30's. And the stance nation nsx photos just confirmed that I don't care about the nsx. But I would drive one if I was throw the keys.
NSX all the way. Its quicker, and I have no need for a rear seat, like at that point it might as well be a wagon so I can at least haul some shit. Even though values are similar, for some reason the M3 feels like such a rare and desirable car I wouldn't want to daily it, where I'd daily an NSX without a drop of guilt. Primary downside to NSX as I see it is the mid-engine layout making serviceability more difficult, but if i had that much money to spend on a car I wouldn't mind handing off the difficult shit to one of my experienced Honda buddies.

Same here. My first few cars were Shoebox Nova's and I have a soft spot for all things square.

When I was a wee lad drawing rough pictures of sports cars, they were always aerodynamic with slanted noses, never in the boxy sedan style. So I give the nod to the NSX & MR2 here. Now that I can appreciate the racing pedigree of the M3 with its flared fenders, I love that style as well. As mentioned earlier, the NSX is just faster looking and exotic enough to stand out in traffic.
I saw my first NSX on the street only a couple of months ago.
Driven by an old bloke, it was purple metalic and was a stock auto.
At first I was like "shit its an NSX" so I roll down the window to listen to it take off.
The most boring fucking thing ive ever heard. Sounded like a honda accord. Instantly turned off.
funny thing is the autos had different programing so they are less powerful and supposedly a bit less rev happy. Stock NSX exhausts are pretty boring but a good exhaust they sound way better
To me they are just too different. NSX looks more exotic, has more of a sporty interior, etc...afterall it is a mid engined 2 seater top of the line Acura. However, that is the formula you've come to expect when talking about a sports car and that's what I like about the E30 M3. It's not a typical sports car but a performance luxury sedan as well.
