      Tough

There is no right answer but I'd take the NSX. The extra ponies (252 to 290) tip the scales.

NSX all day any day never had to ponder. Side note, most people will think an e30 m3 is just an old BMW.

I wouldn't mind a nsx with a stupid big turbo setup.

Not even a comparison. NSX outshines the M3 in every aspect (maybe except MPG). On the street the Acura will break many many more necks than the e30 ever could. #Sorry not sorry

They both have the same problem. They are underpowered in OEM form. I have a love for both the S2K and NSX, but probably would never own either of them. They are missing that feeling you get when you're inside a properly built car: character. The Japanesse cars lack that

I have driven the NSX, and chose a 911 instead. But for your original question, M3 by far on aesthetics alone. Now as for driving it, completely different story. The NSX is a far more enjoyable ride. Not to mention the fear factor in driving a basically not replaceable E30 M3 the way it was meant to be...

M3. The NSX is a brilliant car but just doesn't seem as purpose built like the M3 is. I just imagine that half of the rich guys who bought one gave it to his wife as a summer car, and could care less about the all aluminum chassis and titanium connecting rods.
