If you get married that could help cure it...at least the purchasing issue.

E30 1: dunno what to do with it. 4 door bronzit. Zero rust in rustkingdom. Needs core support, and put back together. Possible turbo30
E30 2: Solid runner. Over half million miles. Sentimental, never dies. Rusty as hell.
Probe GT: The love/hate car. If it doesn't have a blown turbo, it has a blown transmission. Owned longest, very sentimental. NO RUST.
Pathfinder: PLOW TRUCK NEEDED DURING ENDLESS 25FEET OF SNOW WINTERS, END OF STORY!!!!
84 200sx: Dori dori track slut. Hardly ever driven. No real attachment, but not worth anything.
That's where I sit.. I think I won't get butthurt or miss the S12 if I sell it, at this point.

Yeah, I also want a "collection" of sweet cars one day. I have a couple of e30s now, 1 in project phase, 1 DD, and a 99 4runner as a backup/work vehicle. I'd love to add an early 1980s AMC Eagle sx/4 (you should look it up) and an early 1980s Corolla wagon. Maybe a toyota Matrix as well. One of those early honda cvcc's would be cool too.
My name is Ether-D and I'm addicted to shitty old cars.Originally posted by Andy.BWhenever I am about to make a particularly questionable decision regarding a worryingly cheap diy solution, I just ask myself, "What would Ether-D do?"

I have way too many. Currently own 5 cars and a stack of parts including multiple sets of euro bumpers and grilles, and a warehouse to store it all in. I've actually been considering building a decent mezzanine in the warehouse and living out of there to save on rent, finish off the projects, sell them and buy more cars/parts and start again.
List in order of acquisition.
1. AE86 Levin that I've had since 16. Been slowly building over the last 8 years. At first progress was slow because I was a kid with no money, then I lost interest because it's so far from driving and I discovered E30s. It's now a cooling system and ignition system away from being a set up drift/track car and then being sold.
2. Black, 2 door 323i. Was pretty well set up DD/fun hills car but it started losing coolant. I pulled the head off to replace what I thought was a blown head gasket but it turned out to be a completely corroded away head. It's been sitting around ever since. Only keeping it for a future 5.0/T5, or LS1/T56 swap.
3. Alpine white, 2 door, slick top 323i. It has been sitting in the corner of the warehouse for a couple of years. Being a slick top it's probably the perfect base to build a proper IPRA car from but it's not a priority, or even a thought at this stage.
4. 318iS/327iS. This is my DD/midnight hills blaster/occasional track day and hill climb car.
5. E36 328i M Sport. Got it cheap with some front end damage that needs to be fixed but shouldn't be too hard at all. May turn that into a daily once it's all sorted out and go nuts with the 327iS, or flip it for big profit.
Also have a tonne of parts to build the lady's project. The saphirblau 2 door 323i. full Zender body kit, H&R Race, Bilsteins, 3.46 LSD, E28 M tech spoiler, Recaros etc.
Safe to say that I am completely addicted, dug a deep hole and I'm not seeing any light at the end of it yet.Last edited by Hooffenstein HD; 09-13-2014, 04:39 AM.
