So, when you say "M-technic", are you talking about the real deal, full on (not just the bodykit) 92 cabrio?

If so, and depending on miles, then 9500 might not be awful. The cabrios hold value much better than the sedans, and if it's a low mileage example, it might be worth the while.

You can do a good 5 speed swap for 2k, or cheaper if you go halfass on parts.

M-Technik 3 - what other countries recieved the M-Technic Cabriolet??
Seen quite a few in Germany but they possible could not be factory but they could be. factory will build you just about anything for a price.

Hence our 330iSP E46 here only comes in 4 doors with the M-tech kit but in Germany I have seen it on a lowly 320d E46 4 door at dealer.
Yeah, I don't think they were sold that way as an official "model." A German pal of mine (fellow cab owner) said they never received that model in Germany, but he also said that you could order one with anything you liked, as you said :)

Please email me the contact info if you decide to pass on it. That would be a cute car for my wife and I have something that'll wake it up a bit.
          Thanks,

Evil man you are Todd. I will be getting a cabrio this year or next too. My wife deserves it after having the kids by here self for 2.5 years. But she wants a new Honda Odessey first.

Opps just alerted so off to work.

It had sealed beams because all cars 1990+ had them.

I'll sell you an automatic E30 for a lot cheaper if that is your bag.

$9500 isn't bad for a mtec. Like TJ said if you want an auto buy his. Because you know you'll make that mtec into a DD then it wasn't an investment after all, now was it? If you're putting it in your garage and taking it out on an occasional nice weekend then get it.

I dont mean to offend you, but if it really is a rar Mtechnic Cabrio, why buy it use as a daily driver? Wouldn't that kinda be against the whole point?

I agree, unfortunately not everyone thinks the same way about cars.
