E30 Wagen
Doesn't look too bad. Just about any car will last that long. I fully expect mine to. I thought e30's are known particularly for their dependability? I've driven a freaking Oldsmobile that was approaching 400,000 miles, and it was fine. It was a company travel car, so yeah, lots of freeway coasting, but still. Take care of your car and it will take care of you.Comment

There's a guy on bimmerforums whose 325e is approaching 500k. I believe he had to rebuild the head at about 400k, but other than that nearly original. I expect my e30 to do the same for me.

Expecting any car to go 500k is a little ambitious. But 200k+ with no problems is reasonable for an e30.Back to my roots

Well, im at 233k. I'm thinkin about a cylinder head rebuild though, not so much because it needs it, but more for a little bit of performance, with a three angle grind and some porting/polishing.
