I have only an electric fan on my car, and the fan is hooked up to a two speed fan switch at 80*c and 88*c. My car sits a hair below center all the time. On the hottest of days, driving hard for hours on end, it never goes over half.
My car also still has ac. The aux fan cools my car just fine all by itself, but I don't live in the smoking hot climates either.

It will if there's no air conditioner condenser in the way (& you re-mount it up against the radiator core).

I'm running an e32 aux fan on my M30 swap & I have no over heating issues. Used to run a 12 inch Mercedes aux fan on my old e21 (smaller than the e30) and it also worked fine.

I actually used to have a trailer. ;) Not 1500lb but heavy enough when it was loaded down. ;)

    Never had an issue.

Lol so I'm gonna go get some M badges, cuz apparently that makes your car an M3 clone.

i would look at at as a backup device at best and if it comes on regularly the cooling system needs to be fixed

So I'll stick with my advice in saying that you should never need the AUX fan to keep a car cool if the AC is not running.

To MR325, are you talking about an m20 or m50? Because i have an m50b25tu and their is barely any room for a stock fan which is why i installed the aux...
