I Hit The JY Jack Pot!

Well I have been out looking through old e30's that have had their life cut short today. I happened upon a silver 90 model that looked better than mine, car looked like it didn't belong in the JY. I got to looking and noticed the head had been pulled and one piston had a hole in it :(. I was looking underneath at the suspension and Eureka! there were new Billy's on it with Vogtland springs. I went ahead and grabbed the rear and I am going back for the fronts next week. The car was up against a tree on a hill so I didn't feel safe jacking it up and grabbing everything else. The shocks look brand new so I got lucky there. I guess an old dog does have a day every once in a while. I also got the wiper linkage I needed with the motor and it also looks new. Hoosah!!

around this time last year i went to one here. boy was i in for a surprise. i guess some enthusiast stopped giving a shit and just gave his car to the wrecker. came away with a full MINT black/grey plaid interior with black doorcards, ebay headers with a wideband, euro cluster and check panel, and maplight mirror. what i missed out on though were a sweet set of smilies. had to leave them because i didn't have enough cash, left right before they closed and arrived the next day right as they opened and sure enough someone swiped them.
