    Dyno Results +VIDEO

Well, went back to the dyno today. Turned out be a great day at the dyno! FINALLY!

So, here is the scoop, these figures are at 10psi, and if we tried to go higher, it would detonate (most likely cause by too hot of plugs, so I bought colder ones after the dyno, I will gap them tomorrow and see how they do). We tried 15psi, and it was a NICE gain, but had to shut it down once it started detonating.

    266.50 rwhp , 273.11 rwtq

319hp and 327tq at the crank.

I am very happy with these results. They said I would get some gains if I had larger exhaust (mine is only 2.5").

Pics, the low figures are from last year when it was a 2.8l low compression, with 19lb/hr injectors and NO TURBO.

This was at 15psi, but had to shut down.

And here are my new painted tail lights.

Kickass! I was right on the money with the crank estimate (or pretty dang close).

Man look at that torque with 15PSI....damn! pretty insane. BTW, this is with an ETA crank right? How about some water injection? or knock sensing technology? Damn good numbers.

                  No shit.

Hell, even if he ran at a happy medium, like 12PSI as "high boost," it would reach 350 by the time it was done i'd imagine.

Beautiful! That's great Matt. I am really encouraged by your numbers. Did you get the a/f ratio plotted? The engine is falling on it's face at higher rpm. This is likely due to it going really lean. You should be able to run alot more boost than 10psi. I doubt the 2.5" exhaust is the culprit.

What do have for a turbo? I know it's a T04B but what are the specs?

 :firehop: , finally a successful run ! Congrats Matt...gradually straighten the petty issues and you're good to go. Nice to see your hard work pay off. You gonna look at the a-f as suggested by Todd?

So you're among the most powerful e30s on here r3v now. We should have a sticky or hall of fame sticky for yourself, Mike Swale, Barry R, Stu etc ;)

                              Excellent work

Fixing the timing will create more power and also try and work on smoothness

                              hope nothing happened while pinging,

Could you have dropped the boost until it didn“t ping/knock ?

How is the smoothness of the engine?

                              EDIT:

Looking at the graph max power is at 5200rpm while still maintaining almost max torque,
expect more then 300rwhp when you get max power at 5700+
