Matt, congrats buddy. It's about time :) I called the hp figure too :)

The new tails look a TON better. What did you do with them this time? I really want to do that...

Looking at the graph max power is at 5200rpm while still maintaining almost max torque,
expect more then 300rwhp when you get max power at 5700+
SOHC BMW turbo motors make peak HP early but it should hold that peak to redline. My M30 peaks at ~310rwhp early but hold ~300rwhp all the way to the rev limiter.

10 is pretty much the highest I could go. I am thinking a lot of heat was present from exhasut back pressure, heat soaked intake... I wish I had colder spark plugs as well. I am really going to try and do my best to run 12-15psi to make 300rwhp, Just have to tweak a few things. As you can see we riched out the top end so it would not detonate. I would have liked to see what my exhaust temp was during the runs. The engine is VERY smooth however, pulls right up, you will be able to see with video.

                Here is the a/f graph.

The tail lights were washed with laquer thinner, and wiped down. Then sprayed with Testors transparent window tint spray paint, then 2 coats of clear gloss coat to protect from weathering. I decided not to red the tails, so they look like the tinted ones you can buy. I did however find a good red paint, that is better than 1629 ruby red metal flake. It is 1605 Transparent Candy Apple Red, I redded out my friends 2002 tail lights, then cleared, and turned out prefectly.

                Video will be coming soon.

strange. daN has an eta, and has pretty similar wheel torque numbers

                    AWESOME!

I'm glad your dyno trials and tribulations finally paid off! :D Sweet man, just sweet.

btw, you plate filler looks a lil pale.....maybe try painting it with Duplicolor Bumper Coating or something....the color would be just about right to blend with trim......

                    Turbo 2.8

Matt, wich is the ideal Temp exahust in your system, or wich will be a good temp with out sacrifying power or other factors...? Do you have a tool that can messure it or how you messure it?

I'm in the way of building a headshield for my filter, under the hood has a lot of heat when I?m runing with the turbo...

Great Matt! Looks like you picked up some more HP after I left!

Go to Sparkplugs.com and put in the plug you want and it will cross reference it to the plugs you need.

It's still a little dead below 3500, can you tune anything in that range?

How was the ride home? It must have felt sweet to actually get the thing sorted out!!
