stupid, stupid... was on my way to work tonight, and my window was a bit fogged up. I was taking a left onto the freeway, and an oncoming car blinded me. I ended up taking a left into a pond instead of the onramp! doh!

I backed up as far as I could (out of the water at least), but one of the rear tires wasn't even touching the ground, plus it was muddy. didn't make it more than 15 feet. shut the car off and listened to the sounds of crickets and frogs until my uncle could come pull me out.

anyway, no damage to the car, the cops came and didn't give me a ticket (he was actually going to try to pull me out!). my uncle came with his truck to pull me out. Then the highway patrol showed up just as I got out of the pond, wanted to write me a ticket, but I told him the locals were already at the scene, he verified it and sent us on our way.

anyway, what a sucky night. the front of my car is covered in weeds, and mud. no damage, thankfully. arg. at least I didn't get a ticket and didn't hurt the car, just my ego.

dunno, wreckless driving or something? there weren't any witnesses though and he didn't show up until my car was on the road. He was kind of an asshole at first, he spent like 15 minutes in his car and finally came and gave my license back.

I've had that happen before buts its probably because i was doing 50 in a 30 like a dumbass. Got what i deserved i guess

hahaha my pathfinder can go through mud up to the bottom of the windows! No joke either, outside of old ass toyota pickups and hardcore jeep wranglers nothing can beat my rig offroad. Im gettin a hold of some 31 inch mud tires and some steel rims for wicked cheap. Im gonna jack up the torsion bars and throw some old ford spring on the back for about three inches of lift (I can get all this done for like 200 bucks) and then Ill be able to drive over an e30, literally.......................that is if I dont sell it first

well I could have gotten out except my right rear tire wasn't touching the ground. both left tires were spinning in the mud. the left side of my car is extremely muddy! I'm going to wash it today and take pics to remind myself to be more careful about foggy windows (and finally put in that anti fog stuff I bought 2 years ago).

thats what the front wheel drive is for on the ix, just given you some crap, like what was on your car. At school today I almost parked vertically driving up a snow bank all the other spots were taken and I figured if the Pathfinders were doing it why not the ix, only injury was pulling the plastic shield out from under the front of the car. no biggy had screws in the trunk. It was funny too see.
