Wrong have you been there? I have spent over 45 days this year in thailand it's not that like that. It's a very rapidly developing country. Most ride scooters and followed by trucks and cars and buses.

Affordable to live here on a fixed income if you get away from tourist cities. exchange rate is 31 baht to 1 us dollar. Would I live here? most likely not but I have thought about it.
