    The dive to happiness

My dad does the same thing. I bought the car, the cars in my name, I pay for the maintenance/mods, but if I'm doing something big with it (Like 5 speed swap) I still typically clear it with my dad first. Idk if its because he's paying for school or letting use his lift/garage, but I typically only do something like that if he gives me the okay.

              Anyways is it a m20 or m42?

hmmm, who knew there were so many other e30s in RVA? clean car though. let me know if you have any questions about the conversion. I did it to my '91 coupe last winter and took a shitload of pictures of it and will probably post them up here in a bit.

Also, make sure you get a shorter shifting lever. You'll definitely want one.

Agreed. Go break some of the more fun laws that would get the rest of us locked up.

Somebody's in a bad mood. You're forgeting that not all E30 owners are adults. Some of them are 16 year old kids with parents who aren't necessarily as interested in cars as their kids. These parents might be reluctant or even unwilling to let their kid modify their car in such a drastic way regardless of any level of respect in their relationship.
