Either an 89 325i manual, no airbag, plastic bumpers and standard ellipsoid lights, or a 91 318is. I think those are the two most popular years/cars.

I love how everybody is like "no airbag".

'88 325is, as they were fully optioned, but '89 325is and '87 325is are close seconds. Say no to airbag cars, IMHO.

It was BMW's first generation airbag, and it's aged quite a bit.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

Yea I'm confused... Why's everyone calling out air bagged cars? Is there something I'm missing?

87 325is or es. Sport trim packages with small taillights and non-lowered rear arches.

Best bodystyle, especially when facelifted, like mine.

100% this^ lowered arches look like a loaded diaper.

the steering wheel looks horrible, more complicated, no added bonus.

um, well....that isn't exactly a stock factory car. i think everyone realizes this is beyond the scope of the thread. notice that no one has mentioned m3? but since you are playing that card, you really need to google b6 3.5s.

                                now....Boom!
