Anybody messed with e36 seats in the rear?

kencopperwheat did it. I liked it but he decided to go back to e30. They fit well except you will need to build a custom rear deck becasue the back is a few inches taller. It looked good and fit well side to side. It is doable, but you will have to do some minor custom work.

yeah i got some seats and layed them in today to see what in store. i planned on cutting a hole in the back so when they fold down. ya know.. and resupport by welding in a strut brace. kinda skeptical(sp?)

Ken never hooked up a fold down seat. That is going to require a bit more work, but would be cool to see if you end up doing that.
