Agreed they are everywhere.. and that's what held me from wanting one in the first place.. but fearing I would total a RWD with the way I drive backroads I wanted a FWD.. and seriously if you got a FWD car what else would you get.. Then you break it down into honda/acura.. and you want something that handles and fun to drive.. I dont know another car I'd drive FWD for 8K to start out with

        FWD vs RWD..

        Stiffer vs Stiff

        No Torque vs Torque

        A whole different driving expirience..
I can understand you saying you enjoy driving the E30 more..
But Easier to drive an E30 than an ITR??
That is a comment that needs to be asked on a Non Honda/BMW board..

Gotta love it though.. its RWD .. definetely more potential

actually, the E30 is much easier to drive hard for me, and I've only had it since december

I'm curious as to what is easier to drive..

Does it shift smoother .. no
Does it handle better .. Maybe
Just like the power band .. prolly

Its hard to get used to Honda Power bands.. that's a lot of the reason they get hated on

But just outta curiousity.. what is easier?

Yeah, they both handle quite differently. Every time my friend takes a turn in his 1990 Protege, I feel like it's plowing like no other. Just kinda freaks me out.

I guess its all up to personal preference, ya know? 8) ;)

I said easier to drive hard. the itr was a fancy civic, of course its easier to drive around. but when things stop getting fast, I find that its much easier to hustle in the E30. I'd have to work my ass off in the itr to get decent times at an autocross, but the e30 feels like I'm not working nearly as hard to get to the same level of the cars ability.

if that doesnt make sense, oh well.

                  RWD definetely has the advantage..

But they made FWD for drivers.. its "easier" to drive..

Nice Edit .. Adding the hard part..

                  I agree now

really quick opinion statment.... i had an '88 accord for the first 4 years i had my license.... used to beat on that thing. now i have an 87 eta & have been driving it for about 3.... beat on it too, but i love it more & like the way it handles at the limit better... i hate understeer when your gettin on the gas... "drivers" cars shouldn't do that 8) . although i wouldn't throw away a sweet fwd ride if it was set up properly

as for the JCM pics in that thread you posted up... i kinda like that

EDIT: now that i see the pics of your buddy's car.... damn... that sucks (i' m just glad it was a camaro  )

now that i think about it i dont even think it was an evo, i think it was just a lancer. but keep in mind were in ROANOKE VA. there are like 3 ferrari's within 100 miles radius.

:? FWD, you break your ass loose. Bye Bye. RWD break the ass loose. Fun time. What do you find easier pulling a 200 lb box, or pushing a 200 lb box? Pushing, right? I rest my point. I would rather have FWD....maybe in the snow, but being that I live on the beach. I would rather have fwd.....NEVER.
