My Dad's owned nothing but BMW's since 1974, it's genetic. Picked up the 'is in '97, and the Ti in 2001. Currently considering a 1.9 Z3 to replace the Ti on "Daily driver" status, but dunno.

Only if you rock 20" chromies, a bumpin sound system, neon washer nozzles, and a quad tipped DTM muffler...... riding on stock ride height.

              amen..

no seriously... always been a car guy... BMW, Porsche, the exotics, vintage volvo's and the lot. graduated from college, started full time at HMS Motorsport.. my taurus's tranny wouldn't hold gears, so instead of dropping 1200 on a ford, i dropped 5k on a real car. drove the ford to the junkyard and weaseled 100 bucks out of the guy. went out to a nice dinner that night.

              ...

oh and charlie... Ti's are so much hotter than 1.9 Z3's .... i will call your doctor for you if you'd like.

                Yea, I know.

I should have just held out until I found a nice california-roofed Ti, and I would have been set.

mmmmm california roof TI...I love those....maybe because I've only seen one of them, and i took a picture of it and I accidentally edited over the original. Still wouldn't get one of those over an E30, though.

guys, I have to be honest. my mom bought the car around '94 and the family drove it for a while, then around '99 (when I was 11 years old) I started taking care of the car, because my mom treated it like crap. I eventually became one with the car, before I even had my license. I didn't think I would get the car, because I took care of it so much, and my mom wouldn't pass down the car to me because of that. But when I turned 15, my mom grew tired of the car, and she refused to sell the car for under ten grand (that's how she is). She found no buyers (I made sure of that ;) ) so she kept it in the garage. She bought herself an mbenz clk320 and stopped driving the bmw. I eventually talked her into letting me have the BMW. But not after many many sacrifices which include having to go to military school. I thought being 16 and having a BMW was a big deal.

That's my story. I hope it is not too hard to read and understand.
