Hi everyone,

Here is an update for anyone interested

I viewed the car and made an offer. After a bit of back and forth, I came to the conclusion that I just couldn't bring the funds together to make a deal. So I passed on the contact info to a close friend who works at Pfaff that was interested, and they passed that onto someone from Pfaff McLaren. They went and viewed the car, and purchased it. Within 12 hours of purchasing it from the original owner, they had it sold to a previous Pfaff customer.

I figured some people on here were wondering what had happened to the M3 so I thought I'd give an update for those interested.

Sad to see it slip through my hands but for me I just couldn't make the money work without going into severe financial debt to have a car that I 'wanted' but didn't 'need' at this time...maybe one day down the road though.

I'd love to see the car again if the new owner happens to stumble across this site though!

She did all right, but could have gotten more if she new more about the market.
I was also trying to buy the car after Powling gave me her contact info, but unfortunately Pfaff got to it before me.

That was a $60,000+ car with that mileage, history, and in that (apparent) condition.

It's hard to believe she was prepared to sell it for $35,000!
