This little thread is just a small micro - representation of what has happened to F1. So sad.

I feel so bad for Williams... :( It was nice to see them taking the fight to Mercedes and frankly embarrassing them at the start.

So Max is looking like the real deal to me; if I were running Ferrari, I would start some negotiations now. Some would say this is premature, but the potential seems enormous, and could be a perfect partner for Vettel.

I had wondered this, but until we see some big sudden step up in performance I'll try not to let my inner cynic get the better of me.

I just want to see Riccardo being able to compete, which given he'll be on his 4th engine already next race ain't going to happen this year.

What will be next for RBR - a Redbull / TAG Porsche entry given their tie up with Webber / Porsche in the WEC?

I agree with this... Even in 2011 and late 2013, Red Bull didn't cheat to gain strength. Mercedes engine manufacturer knew about the regulations before the other teams, giving them a leg up. The Mercedes team got extra time to test when they tested out Pirellis new compound of tire before the 2014, they may say they didn't learn anything, but we all know they did.

I'm going to throw a crazy topic starter out here. With all of the recent cries from teams to wrangle in the Mercedes power, and the odd showing and radio transmissions from last race..

Anyone think that maybe Mercedes was sandbagging a bit to help take the spot light off of them? :eeek:
